Six Honey Buns with Honey Frosting

 

 

 

Method:

Buns:

Cream together honey, sugar, butter and egg.

Work in sifted flour and milk if needed.

Bake in tins on middle shelf for 20 minutes in preheated oven (200°F/90°C).

Leave to cool until cold.

Frosting:

Beat together 1 egg white, 3 tablespoons of water, 4oz sugar and 4 dessert spoons of clear honey in basin over boiling water until stiff.

Cover buns with this frosting mixture.

 

½ An Egg

2oz. Butter

Milk to Mix if Needed

Ingredients:

4oz. Self-Raising Flour

1oz. Clear Honey

1oz. White Granulated Sugar
