Honey Biscuits




Warm honey and milk together and allow to cool.

Add bicarbonate of soda and beat with fork until frothy.

Cream the butter and sugar, add frothy mixture and then the sieved flour.

Roll into small equal balls (about 1¼ inch diameter), place on greased baking tray, slightly press with fork.

Bake on middle shelf for about 10 minutes in preheated oven (350°F/180°C), until golden.

Leave to cool until cold.

Makes about 30 biscuits.


6oz. Plain Flour

3oz. White Granulated Sugar

1 Teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda


4oz. Butter

1 Large Tablespoon Clear Honey

1 Tablespoon Milk
