When the busy summer season ends and the bees are beginning to cluster for the winter
months, beekeepers find the time to further their knowledge of the many varied aspects
NBKA offers the training apiary during the summer months for those looking to improve
their techniques. During the “closed” season there is an opportunity available only
to members to attend the series of winter lectures which run on Thursday evenings
from October to January. These lectures are designed to underpin the studies of those
wishing to take the BBKA Modular Exams.
For those wishing to venture beyond basic exploring modules 1 & 2.
Starting at 19.30 hrs on:
November 1st, 8th, 15th and 29th
Dates for 2019 - January 3, 10, 17 and 24.
There is also an informal study group for a small number of members who sign up to
take the BBKA correspondence course designed to assist those studying to sit a designated
